1 Scope of application

These Terms and Conditions (ToC) apply to all tours offered by “Ecotours Freiburg”. By booking a tour, the customer agrees to these ToC.

 

2. Conclusion of contract

A contract between the customer and “Ecotours Freiburg” is concluded with the booking confirmation sent by e-mail. Verbal agreements are not binding.

 

3. Services

The tours offered are carried out in accordance with the description on the website and in the programme sent with the bookin confirmation. „Ecotours Freiburg“ reserves the right to make changes to the route or content if this is necessary for organizational or weather-related reasons.
Details of the duration of the tours are approximate indications.
The maximum group size is 20 people. A second tour guide must be hired for groups of 21 or more.

Short-term deviations from individual services during a guided tour due to unforeseeable local circumstances (e.g. train strike, weather etc.) or due to delays for which “Ecotours Freiburg” is not responsible or the wishes of the participants are reserved.
The tours take place in all weathers. Nevertheless, “Ecotours Freiburg” will make every effort to arrange an alternative program at the customer’s request or, if possible, to find an alternative date. Possible additional costs are to be borne by the customer.

4 Prices and terms of payment

The prices quoted are per person or group, unless otherwise agreed.
„Ecotours Freiburg“ will send you an invoice at the same time as confirming the conclusion of the contract. The stated amount must be paid before the tour is taken in accordance with the payment date stated on the invoice.

Payments, especially from abroad, must be made free of charge; the customer is responsible for this.

5 Cancellation by the customer

– Up to 72 hours before the tour: Cancellation free of charge.
– Less than 72 hours before the tour: 50% of the agreed price.
– Less than 24 hours before the tour or no-show: 100% of the agreed price.

In case of a possible rebooking, we charge a fee of 15 €.

 

6 Cancellation by „Ecotours Freiburg“

„Ecotours Freiburg“ reserves the right to cancel a tour for important reasons (e.g. weather conditions, illness of the guide). In this case, an alternative date will be offered or the fee paid will be refunded.

7 Liability

Participation in the city tour is at your own risk. The provider is not liable for accidents, damage or loss of items, unless they are due to gross negligence or intent.

 

8. Data protection

The personal data of the customer will only be used for the execution of the tour and the processing of the booking and will not be passed on to third parties.

9. Place of jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Freiburg im Breisgau.

 

10. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these ToC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
